It is a fact that the stresses of life is taking a toll on the marriages of hundreds of millions of couples. Work, money, children and other commitments can become so overwhelming and time consuming that your marriage starts to suffer severely.
Many people just ignore it. But that is a recipe for disaster: it is more likely your marriage will end in break up or divorce if you and your partner don’t communicate and try to heal the symptoms.
As long as there is still love there, there is hope to savour your relationship – and this also goes for couples who are not yet married.
Have you considered that exercise is a wonderful way to repair and enhance your marriage? Most people have never thought of exercise in that way before, but when you think about it – the experts have made it clear that exercising releases “feel good” hormones into your body, meaning you feel more alive, positive and energetic.
Compared with sitting around on the couch and arguing with each other, exercising together instead can make the world of difference to your relationship.
So how can you exercise together?
It’s easy: there are so many ways to work out, without even feeling like you’re working out. Things like yoga and pilates are what I like to call “exercise in disguise”.
There is no need to spend thousands on gym equipment or membership when you can exercise at home and around your suburb with activities like walking.
Why Should You Exercise Together?
- It’s fun
- It builds your relationship up
- It strengthens bonding
- It breaks down stress and anxiety between you
- You can laugh and encourage each other
- Get fit and healthier; encourage the release of ‘feel good’ hormones through exercise
- Lose weight; become more physically attracted to each other
